Centre Facilities

Checkendon Equestrian Centre, set in 70 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, has a variety of facilities that will suit every need. 

Two outdoor ménages, one 60 by 24 metres, the other 35 by 30 metres.

After dark facilities: all of the schools are floodlit, so the long winter nights are not a problem.

A wide variety of show jumps and cross country jumps. The jumps are free to our livery owners, they are also used as part of lessons and can be hired.

A woodland area, ideal for cooling down your horse or for a short, quiet hack and walks in the woods.

Both the horsewalker and the pool can be hired, but use of the horsewalker is free to livery owners

We have an on site massage therapist who offers consultations and treatment. The centre also have a tens machine and an equissage pad which can be hired

Human Relaxation

We have recently opened a coffee shop at Checkendon Equestrian Centre where we offer light refreshments and a comfortable place to sit and wait for lessons to finish.

We also have a yoga and pilates room as well as a beauty treatment and massage room
