The British Horse Society's Progressive Riding Tests

We will be providing a full course for each Test consisting of both the Riding and Stable Management at a discounted rate.

There are six Tests in total, each is made up of a combination of Riding and Stable Management.

After each test there is a short exam - if this is passed you will receive a certificate.

If you complete all six Tests you will gain direct access to the BHS Stage II and the riding and Road Safety exams.

You do not have to be a member of the BHS to take these tests.

These 'Certificates' are aimed at those who only want to study for the Stable Management areas.

We will be holding complete courses where you can study for the individual Certificates at a discounted rate.

There are Four Certificates in total.

After each course there will be a short exam.

Within the Courses you will cover topics such as - Feeding, Fittening, Care of the horse before and after competitions, What to look for when buying a horse and Horse health.

You do not have to be a member of the BHS to take these tests.
